Overview
Food Tech Focus is a textbook for year 9 and 10 students studying Food Technology in NSW. The cover conveys the wonder of personal experience with responsible food production. The urban garden, the rural setting, a focus on responsible and sustainable harvest, convey a positive message of the future of food securities.
Challenge
As well as designing the cover and internals, l also art directed the food photoshoot. Providing design direction and propping directives to both the photographer and the food stylist. The book was short-listed for the APA awards – Best Designed Educational Primary/Secondary Book (abda.com.au/archive/books/food-tech-focus)
